T-Systems transfers all data between trucks and freight companies over a virtual private network (VPN) and operates the solution from its own data center. “We also develop the GPRS modems and produce them on our own assembly line. The telematics solution is based on logiweb, T-Systems’ modular logistics portal. This standard solution can be integrated into any vehicle model. It is freely scalable and can even be connected to a digital tachograph, for example.
