New ICT freedom for Continental

No fixed contract periods, invoicing purely based on usage: these are the terms under which Continental will be procuring its SAP services from T-Systems.

It is also one of the largest SAP projects that T-Systems has ever had. Continental is among the top three international automotive suppliers in the world. More than 55,000 Continental employees use SAP applications. The project’s objective is to consolidate the three data centers of Continental’s various business divisions, which will take place in one of Europe’s most modern data centers in Frankfurt am Main. Continental will benefit from state-of-the-art technology without having to make investments itself; and this technology will also be seamlessly integrated into the company’s process architecture, explains Elisabeth Hoeflich, CIO of Continental Rubber Group.
