Cisco and T-Systems are now offering a solution for customers in Germany that gives the images to the conference participants as large as life and crystal clear, and the sound in HiFi quality.

With Cisco TelePresence, the participants speak with their business partners just like at a personal meeting, even if they are actually on different continents. Using high-resolution plasma screens, innovative cameras, loudspeakers and microphones, the system can unite up to 12 business partners at a virtual table. They can experience the gestures and nuances of communications.

The system is connected to the company’s existing IP network, so the staff can operate it easily. The conference participants can book a meeting as usual with calendar applications such as Outlook. When they then enter the TelePresence room, they already find all the information they need on the high-resolution display.

T-Systems has been a partner of the world’s largest supplier of networking solutions for the Internet for several years. For users of the TelePresence solution, the ICT service provider takes over the setup and configuration of the infrastructure, the operation of and service for the application and also supports the fundamental business process. T-Systems can also check the existing network design of the user and, if necessary, optimize it.
