During its 18th supplier meeting, Mercedes-Benz Brazil honored the Brazilian Telekom subsidiary in the category of non-producing suppliers. 600 out of a total of 3,000 companies had applied for the “Supplier of the Year” award. Jürgen Ziegler, president of Mercedes-Benz Brazil, and his management board praised T-Systems for the close cooperation and support, especially in times of the economic crisis, for the flexibility in implementing projects, the innovative spirit and the service quality.

The automotive group in Brazil had already extended the contract with T-Systems to the end of 2012 at the beginning of this year.
